Vogue is an international fashion and lifestyle magazine released monthly by Condé Nast Publications.

History[]

Arthur Turnure founded Vogue in 1892 as a weekly publication in the United States. When he died in 1909, Condé Montrose Nast picked up the magazine and slowly began growing its publication. He changed it to a bi-weekly magazine and also started Vogue overseas starting in the 1910s. He first went to Britain in 1916, and started a local edition there, then to Spain, and then to Italy and France in 1920 where it was a huge success. The magazine's number of publications and profit increased dramatically under his management.

Season 1[]

Margaret Schroeder eyes an old number of Vogue in January 17, 1920 while waiting for an audience with Atlantic County Treasurer Nucky Thompson. As she finishes, Thompson's aide Eddie Kessler tells her to get in. ("Boardwalk Empire")

Season 2[]

Nucky makes a reference to the magazine when he tries to recruit Agent Nelson Van Alden to spy on Attorney General Esther Randolph. "If she renews her suscription to Vogue, I want to know it". ("Peg of Old")
