Nuckys gift

Nucky's wedding gift to the Darmodys.

Nucky's Wedding Gift, sent to the Darmodys in February 13 1921 on account of the recent marriage between Jimmy and Angela, consists of one of Nucky Thompson's trademark bills in an envelope and a medium-sized statue of a man and a boy reclining over the deer they have just hunted.

The statue is a reference to the times in Jimmy's childhood where Nucky would take him hunting, and a reminder of their close relationship they had before Jimmy turned to his biological father, the Commodore Louis Kaestner, who did not take part in Jimmy's upbringing.

Rather than putting it in a visible place, Jimmy decides to hide the statue in the bedsheet closet. ("21")
