- Katy walks in when Owen Sleater tells Margaret Schroeder that he has feelings for her.
- Gillian Darmody phones Jimmy to tell him of his wife's murder and advice him to return to Atlantic City before people begin to make assumptions.
- Bill Fallon and Deacon Cuffy accuse Nelson Van Alden of murdering Eric Sebso and provide Sebso's shoes and gun as evidence. Van Alden evades arrest by shooting Clifford Lathrop and escapes town with his daughter and Sigrid.
- Esther Randolph calls for Margaret Schroeder's testimony against Nucky Thompson in his prosecution case for electoral fraud and the murder of Hans Schroeder. Nucky threatens Margaret.
- Jimmy snaps and attempts to choke Gillian when she coldly suggests to tell Tommy that his mother abandoned him and make him forget her. The Commodore intervenes in Gillian's defence and Jimmy murders him. Richard Harrow cleans the murder scene to difficult a possible murder investigation.
