Peter Appel, born October 19, 1959 in New York City, New York, USA, is an American actor. He plays Alby Gold in Boardwalk Empire. He is a co-star in the third season episode "Ging Gang Goolie". He has been active since 1989 and has also appeared in the films Leon, Sleepers and Spider-Man. Appel has frequently worked with writer / producer David Milch, appearing in his series NYPD Blue, Big Apple, and Luck. He has also appeared in the HBO series Oz. He has had roles in Law & Order, The Kill Point, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
