Pete (played by Jon DeVries) is a hunter who camps in the woods of New Jersey. He meets Richard Harrow when his friend Glenmore brings Harrow to their camp. Pete shares his own moonshine with Harrow after checking that he is not a revenue agent. Pete tells Harrow that he once saw a flying horse in Atlantic City. He is well spoken and tells Glenmore to "stop pontificating".
