John C. Vennema is an American actor. He plays brokerage owner Lawrence Conors in Boardwalk Empire. He is a recurring guest star in the fifth season and debuts in the episode "Golden Days for Boys and Girls". He has been active since 1981 and has also appeared in the films The Basketball Diaries (1995), Kiss of Death (1995) and Die Hard With a Vengeance (1995) and the series Law & Order and The Good Wife.
