David Matthews, born November 8, 1967, is an American writer. He is a writer for Boardwalk Empire. He has worked as Executive Story Editor on the fourth season. He has been active since 2011 and has also worked on the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He wrote the non-fiction books "Ace of Spades" and "Kicking Ass and Saving Souls".
