"All In" is the fourth episode of the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire, and the 40th episode overall. The episode was written by David Matthews and directed by Ed Bianchi. It premiered on September 29, 2013.
Jake Guzik suffers a heart attack in Chicago and Al and Frank Capone decide to take over his collections for old times sake. They drag George Mueller along and solidify his loyalty against Dean O'Banion after involving him in a truck heist and murder. Nucky Thompson offers to partner with Arnold Rothstein in the Florida deal but is put off by Rothstein's obsession with winning at the poker table. He finds an unexpected replacement in Meyer Lansky. Dunn Purnsley ingratiates himself with Valentin Narcisse. Willie Thompson plots revenge against the classmate who embarassed him but his poisoning plan goes too far and the boy is killed. Eddie Kessler enjoys his newfound responsibilities and celebrates with a night out in the company of Ralph "Bottles" Capone before being arrested by Bureau of Investigation Agent Warren Knox.
